Tim Harbridge: Singer, Songwriter & maker of things, Tim Harbridge, started writing songs about the same time as starting art college. He went on to study Fine Art Sculpture in Brighton whilst also following his real calling...which was to sing. In early bands he performed live on national television and radio and then went on to form Brighton art-rock treasures 'Mum, Dad & the Kids' & the Velvets inspired noir of 'TAiL'...he now concentrates on the more personal experiences of life, internal & external, to inform his solo material. 'This is a Call' was a response to 'a call' to artists to make work that speaks of the plight of the Earth and how we can empower art & artists to change the narrative & re-write it's future. Below are the Lyrics to his song “This is a Call”:

This is a Call

This, this is a call, this is a call,

To arms, to hands, to feet.

This, this is a call, this is a call,

To march them on the street,

To march them on the street.

This, this is a call, this is a call,

To lips, to tongues, to teeth,

This, this is a call, this is a call,

To speak up, to speak out, to speak.

To speak up, to speak out to speak.

If we don’t try then the world will surely die,

And if we don’t try we can kiss our world goodbye.

This, this is a call, this is a call,

To pen, to paint, to ink.

This, this is a call, this is a call,

To use them to make people think.

To use them to make people think.

Because if we don’t fight then the earth will surely die,

And if we don’t fight we can kiss the earth goodbye.

You’ve got eyes...so see!

You’ve got ears...so hear!

You’ve got a voice and you’ve got a choice,

So come make some noise with me.

This, this is a call, this is a call,

To your blood, your flesh and your bone.

This, this is a call, this is a call,

To your mind, your body and soul,

To unite and become a whole.

Because if we don’t unite then we will surely die,

And if we don’t unite we can kiss ourselves goodbye.
