João Bispo Artistic object composed of video recordings made at the Gulbenkian gardens, focused on the meeting / composition between natural and human made elements. Hybrid in its character, it is simultaneously a visual expression to accompany the music piece Sovereign Condition, and constitutive with said piece of a moment of immersive reflection about thresholds of confluence, or friction, of human action on Nature.

Greenness (Cess Frangi & Graham Pratt) musical project of French singer-songwriter Cess Frangi and English producer and composer Graham Pratt.

Drawing inspiration from hybrid genres, such as trip-hop and folktronica, the music of Greenness aims to create an immersive and emotional experience through the use of various acoustic instruments merged with electronic beats, sound effects, field recordings and evocative bilingual lyrics, in a bid to explore and deepen our connection with ourselves, each other and the environment.

"Electro-acoustic duo Greenness from Brighton are a revelation, with Cess’ awesome voice superbly complemented by Graham’s distinctive guitar work." - The Morning Star

Tim Harbridge: Singer, Songwriter & maker of things, Tim Harbridge, started writing songs about the same time as starting art college. He went on to study Fine Art Sculpture in Brighton whilst also following his real calling...which was to sing.

'This is a Call' was a response to 'a call' to artists to make work that sheds light upon the plight of the Earth and how such an action might just help change the narrative & re-write the planet's future. I believe creative people have a responsibility to communicate...to stand up...to speak up...to march...to fight, write, paint, draw, dance, sing, scream...but mainly...to inspire others to find their voices & get heard.

Art has the ability to facilitate change....think about Woody Guthrie's guitar with the sticker on it saying 'This machine kills fascists'...He sought to denounce fascists - particularly their leaders - as a 'group of gangsters who set out to rob the world' where 'Social, political and economic inequality had been engendered by a small rich elite' Sound familiar? This is not a new problem...but let's add environmental damage to the list. So perhaps Art can be the mechanism to save the world. Wouldn't that be something?

Melim Petersen Visual, Performance and healing arts are a central part of both our paths. Our partnership springs out of the meeting of these arts. As primordial creative axis we have: a holistic understanding of Nature; the ever-challenging and paradoxical presence we are; the constant revisitation of old traditions and of the very ground we stand on right now.

David Devant And his Spirit Wife- When Nature Calls: recorded and filmed over the last months, the theme matches being and trusting in nature.

I wrote this in response to the call out for creative works to throw light on climate change and the World's plight...the idea was that, only after it's too late for planet, will we look to the likes of Greta Thunberg to help us...it alludes to her famous quote 'The world we live in is a house on fire and the people we love are burning'. I wished it could be a little more positive but I think that might be self delusional somehow.

I couldn't hear the song without an approximation of a Beatles bassline in there...the one from Sun King on Abbey Road...so as a nod to that & them I called it Sun Queen...it's inspired by Greta & her battle for the Earth...so the title seemed appropriate.
